Yes duels do exist in EveSo small that it was a 1 vs 1. Yes, you heard it it was a dual. The good thing is that I won and I'm happy about it...but not him. Poor guy. I was in my thrasher in Pyn. Started to scan the system for a complex with my shitty on board scanner and I found a medium plex. As soon as I Jumped in the plx, I have this pirate that just jumped in. He was in an assault frigate (hawk). I had the advantage at first of being at 25km away from him so I start to lock him down and as soon as I hit 18km or so I start to shoot and begin to fly away from me. From the time it took him to get under my guns he was at 9k and in structure already. The weird point is he didn't use his " webber" when he was under 10km. he died at the end.

Battle of Vlillrier: Arm wrestling competitionReport by GavinMessed up battle summary here. Note that distributions are all messed up, as there were more than two parties involved. Basically Caldari vs Minmatar+Gal vs VITO vs a bunch of other pirates :) 1930-2030 CTA form up time Heavy on shield BS's and BC's, about 70 strong we went out to pick a fight. Not much happens initially, except a few straggler kills while we get some attention in Black Rise. Many people log after hitting highsec as one of the FC's says he can't get a fleet up to fight what we had. 2200 we get sight of Nibbletek coming out to Vlillrier/Oicx area. WOLFY are with them. Expecting a hotdrop, we prepare triage carriers of our own. We did not have any dreads available for this op, after a good portion of people logged. Nibbletk fleet was about 15-20 RR BS, with carrier cyno on standby. Read more after the jump.
Sheer LuckReport by BeltantisBattle summary here. Was FC'ing, chasing after WT gang. They were spotted in Oicx, so we try to cut them off in Aivoinen on Pavanakka gate. We nail a Myrm there, rest manage to cross-jump us or turn back the other way. We send out scouts and head back to Nenna, trying to catch WT's heading through Eha->Oicx->Vlil. They aren't turning up so we double back and find a few stragglers sitting on the Akidagi gate. Then the hillarity begins. Read more after the jump.
No more tears now; I will think upon revengeYesterday I was in Nourv and I just logged. Pretty bored so I decided to take my blaster thorax and go roam all alone. Man was that a big mistake lol. For a short story there was a crow in kedama waiting for me to jump in and lock me down and there was this zealot in teimo so instead of running away I decided to fight the death. Death won and sent me a message “You will death a horrible die”. Later on if I remember right (I should of made this story yesterday :( ) I tried to kill an assault frigate with my rifter. Huh yeah, with my rifter. Let say I didn't have to say “Chaaaaar...” and I died in record time.
Battle Report - Sunday Oct 15th @ 1900Report by Gavin
Formed up 1900. 35 battleships, give or take, about 25 ish battlecruisers, and misc. support with some very dilligent scouts parked at WT staging points like nenna, OMS and reporting regularly without complaining. No logisitcs this round--we went for maximum DPS. Rolled out with the battlecruisers, and tucked the battleships far away in lowsec. After about an hour and a half of posturing/roaming/a few random kills, the WT's form a fleet to take on our BC+support, not knowing about our battleships. Nibbletek continues to roam Black Rise in thier standard BS/Logistics team, coming on and off the radar regularly. More after the jump
Uh Sarge, are we fighting those nose picking rednecks ?
Moral of the story: be creative and don't use the same tactic too much. p.s: Go on the forum and discuss about this blog. Don't be afraid I can take the comments.
Slippery when wetTried to follow a frog down to notora which was always ahead of me. Of course that doesn't help when your in a stabber against a catalyst; they run fast. Once he's in notoras he warps to his mission complex. I go there and use the gate then I see him cloak all of a sudden ? Listen, I've seen tricks from those damn Gallente pilot like using WCS up to 3. I also saw a hurricane with the same thing which were wcs's and cloak modules on combat ships. Sure there all legal tactics but I hate those tactics. Just when you think you got one, they slip between your fingers.
Not fair but legal to doWe had around 20 pilots in fleet. We had all cruisers and below from our FC's orders. I didn't put any attention to what people brought because I had to do a quick fit on my stabber. If you look at our killmail in OMS tonight, You'll know who was there and what we were in. Anyways back to monkey business. We were camping the Vil~ gate in OMS and we pointed and insta-destroyed every frog ship that was coming trough. It was a nightmare from their point of view. The best kill we had was a crane which was worth 150m. We had some others as well like taranis, nemesis, helios, etc. It was a total blow out and we all loved it. At some point we decided to move on because it was getting a bit too hot. Then suddenly a mega jumps in. We had orders to warp out even though we was near structure or probably in it (I warped from that moment so I'm not sure). From this point we got out of there. Sure we had some deaths on our part but in all, it was worth it
Battle Report - Caldari Carriers in HikkokenReport by Gavin - Hikkoken, 6 November '09CTA announced roughly November 4th 1930 Form up time 20 ish BS, mostly shield tanked 25 ish BC mostly shield tanked, 6 basilisks, 5-6 snipe BS/HACs, random support+tackle roughly 70 in total. 1 Prober. Was a solid balance. Lack of WC4 made us have to divide into 3 wings. Very frustrating to set up, but doable. Lack of additional command ships hampered our tank. 2010-2015 ish we roll out. READ MORE
